Frequently Asked Questions

Our fellows carry a host of titles, ranging from CEO and Head of School to the Director of Admissions. The common threads that connect the leaders – regardless of their tenure – is a growth mindset and a desire to expand their professional networks. We also welcome school founders.

School Leader Fellows are serving in public and private schools, covering grades PK-12, within a 3 hour radius of Indianapolis. The institutions are as diverse as the education community: innovation schools, classical schools, schools serving special needs, homeschool co-ops, and Montessori. We also count several school founders in our community.

A payment plan can be arranged for $1500 tuition. For qualifying schools, the program is also eligible for Title 2 funds.

The multi-tiered approach builds on each step, which makes participation in each event essential. All dates for the 2024-2025 year are now confirmed to support a participant’s planning. We hope fellows participate in all 13 of the scheduled/optional events. In order to qualify for graduation from the School Leader Fellowship, fellows are requested to participate in a minimum of 9 of the 11 mandatory fellowship events.

Homework assignments are related to class activities and personal coaching sessions. Additional reading assignments take into account the ever present demands of a school leader.

The shared experiences of the program help to establish enduring relationships that continue to be nurtured through regular communication and participation in bi-annual virtual Forums that are open to all fellows.
